Belcam Cordelia is an impressive 17hh bay mare who joined Amberley House Stud in 2016. She has been a very successful broodmare with offspring competing both in New Zealand and abroad. She was imported from Australia and selected as a broodmare not only because of her wonderful temperament and power of gaits but because of her international pedigree. Her sire, Contango 11, is considered one of the most talented stallions to enter Australasia and has stamped his mark with his progeny now competing successfully to grand prix levels at show jumping and at the highest levels in dressage and eventing.
Cordelia has had progeny such as Hurlingham Landlady and Vivid OL competing at 1.35 as well as a very successful Saddle Hunter who won up and Coming Saddle Hunter title at HOY and competing well in dressage.
She is also mother of a mare brought by Clarke Johnstone for competition but after enduring a career ending accident has been retained by him as a broodmare.
Our beautiful Cordelia has since been retired from broodmare duties.
She is a Hanoverian classified approved breeding mare.
